  • Carlos Mendes Pinheiro Jr.

    Possessing a solid background in International Law, Carlos Pinheiro Jr. was a partner and member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Banco Modal S.A., and Managing Director and member of the Managing Committee of Banco de Investimentos Credit Suisse First Boston Garantia S.A..  Carlos was also General Counsel and Head of Legal and Compliance in said financial institutions. Prior to those positions, he worked as a Senior Lawyer at Demarest e Almeida Advogados, in that law firm’s Corporate and International Departments.

  • Cristina Saiz Jabardo

    With a Master’s Degree in International Law, Cristina Jabardo concentrates her professional activities on corporate deals, advising national and international clients in the negotiation and drafting of corporate agreements and M&A transactions. Cristina is also an accomplished and experienced arbitration lawyer, having represented parties from diverse economic sectors in arbitration proceedings brought at CAM-CCBC, CMA-CIESP, CAM-Bovespa, CCI, LCIA, AAA and UNCITRAL.

    In addition to her activities as a practicing attorney, Cristina is a professor of Graduate Studies at GVLaw. She is also a frequent guest as keynote speaker in seminars on arbitration and an author of various articles on the subject.

    Lise de Almeida boasts vast experience in arbitration and Court disputes, involving commercial, civil and administrative cases. She has represented parties from diverse economic sectors in arbitration proceedings brought at CAM-CCBC, CMA-CIESP, CAM-Bovespa, CCI, LCIA, AAA and UNCITRAL.

    Lise is in the roster of arbitrators of (i) the Arbitration Chamber at CIESP-FIESP, (ii) the Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná, and (iii) the Italian-Brazilian Arbitration and Mediation Chamber – CAMITAL.  She is also a frequent guest as keynote speaker in seminars on arbitration and an author of various articles on the subject.

  • Sérgio de Freitas Costa

    Sérgio Costa’s specialities include dispute resolution and negotiation techniques, as well as litigation both in Courts and in Arbitration Tribunals. In the latter capacity, Sérgio has represented parties from diverse economic sectors in arbitration proceedings brought at CAM-CCBC, CMA-CIESP, CAM-Bovespa, CCI, LCIA, AAA and UNCITRAL. He also handles the negotiation and drafting of corporate agreements in general.

    Sérgio is a professor at EAESP, which is the FGV – Fundação Getúlio Vargas Administration School (www.fgv.br), and at Insper (www.insper.edu.br).   He has authored the book Gestão de Negociação (Negotiation Management) as well as several articles on arbitration and Commercial Law.
